HVAC Inspection Checklist

  1. Clean and/or replace customer provided air filters
  2. Clean and thoroughly wash condenser coils
  3. Lubricate mechanical moving components as needed
  4. Inspect and clean accessible drain pan and drain line and condensate pans
  5. Adjust and clean accessible blower motor and assembly
  6. Inspect, tighten, and test all electrical connection
  7. Clean and inspect furnace burners and heat exchanger/combustion chamber for cracks, rust, or problem areas
  8. Measure operating voltage, amperage, and control voltage
  9. Monitor refrigerant pressures, temperatures, and cooling/heating capability

Plumbing Inspection Checklist

  1. Monitor water pressure to home
  2. Inspect faucets for leaks, fitting and corrosion
  3. Inspect washing machine hoses and valves
  4. Inspect water main shut off and branch shut off valves; per customer permission
  5. Sewer camera inspection through accessible exterior cleanouts
  6. Check water heater heaters from accessible metallic water heater drain for possible signs of rust, deposits or sediment that can cause premature tank failure, popping, cracking, or reduced efficiency and capacity
  7. Inspect commode tanks, fill valves and flappers
  8. Leak check gas fittings, flex lines and piping
  9. Check to see flex piping is CSST bonded
